This page describes how Creating Good Problems LLC handles personal information for our website, bookings, and related integrations (including Intuit/QuickBooks app registration). It is an operational disclosure based on our current systems — not legal advice. Have counsel review before relying on it.
Who we are
Creating Good Problems LLC (“CGP,” “we,” “us”) is a founder-led consulting and coaching practice. We primarily serve clients in the United States, with operations associated with the Fort Lauderdale / South Florida area (Eastern Time). Contact: info@creatinggoodproblems.com. Website: www.creatinggoodproblems.com (and related hostnames such as cgpgo.com when pointed here).
Scope
This Policy covers personal information collected through our public Site, consultation intake and booking flows, email and scheduling messages, and third-party platforms we use to deliver those services. Separate engagement letters or statements of work for longer consulting/coaching programs may add confidentiality or retention terms; if they conflict with this Policy on client-work product, the signed engagement controls for that engagement.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Identity & contact data — name, email, phone, business or organization name
- Intake & booking data — whether the hour is personal, business, or both; preferred support (consulting, coaching, or not sure); stage, urgency, primary challenge; free-text goals; and the appointment time you select
- Scheduling & meeting data — calendar holds in Wix Bookings, confirmation details, and Google Meet links when Meet is used for the session
- Session & notes data — information you share in consultations and any prep notes or follow-up records we keep to deliver the engagement
- Payment & billing data — invoice status and payment records processed through QuickBooks / Intuit or another processor we specify (we do not store full payment card numbers on this website)
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device/basic logs needed to operate and secure the Site (for example via our host)
We do not ask for government ID numbers, full bank account numbers, or health records on the public booking form. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for the consultation.
How we use information
- Schedule and deliver consultations and programs
- Prepare for sessions using your intake answers
- Send confirmations, invoices, reminders, and service communications
- Operate our pipeline and internal follow-up (contacts and bookings)
- Improve the website and protect against abuse or fraud
- Meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations
We do not use intake or session content to train public generative AI models. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy first.
Systems we use (processors / platforms)
We use third-party systems to run the practice. Depending on the feature, that may include:
- Wix — Bookings, contacts, automations, confirmations, and related site/booking data for scheduling and confirmations
- Vercel — hosting this public website and booking API endpoints
- QuickBooks / Intuit — invoicing, payment links, and accounting
- Google — Google Meet and calendar-related meeting tools when enabled; Google Fonts may load typefaces for the Site
- Email providers used to send transactional messages
Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Connecting QuickBooks (or similar) authorizes us to create and manage invoices and related customer records needed to bill for services you request.
Legal bases (where applicable)
Where a “legal basis” concept applies, we process personal data as needed to perform a contract (booking and paid services), with your consent where required, and for legitimate interests such as securing our systems and improving operations — balanced against your rights.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data with service providers who help us operate (listed above), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Over the prior 12 months, disclosures for business purposes have been limited to those operational providers (hosting, bookings, invoicing, email, and meeting tools as used).
Confidentiality of client matters
Business and personal details you share in intake or sessions are treated as confidential client information for running your engagement. We do not publish your story or use your name in marketing without permission. Confidentiality has limits: we may disclose information if required by law, to prevent serious harm, or to our professional advisors under confidentiality duties.
Retention
We keep booking, intake, session, and billing records as long as needed for the engagement, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal retention requirements, then delete or anonymize when no longer needed. Calendar and invoice copies may also remain in Wix or QuickBooks according to those platforms’ retention settings.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small professional-services practice (access controls on booking/accounting tools, HTTPS on the Site). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
Your choices and U.S. state privacy rights
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, subject to legal and accounting limits
- Opt out of non-essential marketing emails (transactional booking and invoice mail may still send)
- Disconnect third-party app authorizations (for example QuickBooks) via that provider’s settings
Depending on where you live, U.S. state laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar laws in other states) may give you rights to know, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a request, email info@creatinggoodproblems.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site may use essential cookies or similar technologies for security and basic function (including those set by our host or booking stack). We do not currently document a separate advertising pixel stack on this Policy. If we add analytics or ads later, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide additional notices or controls.
Children
Our services are directed to adults (18+) and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local standard).
International users
We primarily operate in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the revised Policy, except where law requires a different form of consent.
