Why I Started Creating Good Problems

Creating Good Problems began in November 2017 with the phrase “Forever Survivor.” I wrote it in a notebook alongside thoughts I was trying to work through. As I searched for clarity, my faith helped me see that those notes could become something useful to other people.

The phrase “Creating Good Problems” kept coming back to me. I began to see that working through a challenge can teach you something and help you find a way forward. That idea became the foundation for CGP.

I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entertainment and Sports Promotion Management from Northwood University and a Master of Education in Higher Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.

I worked in alternative high school education at Henry D. Perry from 2017 to 2019. I returned in 2022 and stayed until I resigned in December 2024.

I bring my education and experience into my work with CGP. I take time to understand what’s happening, explain why a system matters and help people decide what steps to take. Teaching and helping people follow through are central to how I work.
